So… what do you guys do for Valentines day?  Do you have a special date night?  Find a sitter for the kids?  What does this day mean to you more than any other day?  Well, our Valentines day is usually pretty uneventful.  Having three kids prevents alot of romantic stuff :)  You know, candlelit dinners, walks under the moon, all that stuff I’ve read about in books.  However spending Valentines Day with my wonderful husband doesn’t NEED to be romantic because I love what we have just as it is!!!  So in honor of my hubby I’m gonna write about all the stuff that I LOVE about being married to probably the best person ever!  I’m gonna write about all the sweet nothings that happen ALL year long that I can reflect on around this time every year :) 

Things that make me go awwwwww

Opening the pantry door finding a trash can that has just been emptied (yeah I’m pretty easy to please)

I love the days where he says let’s BBQ something bcs those are the days I get a break from the kitchen.

I love that I can be home during the day to bid him off to work or greet him when he comes home.

I love finding sweet notes left on the countertop before he goes to work.

I love a text  that says nothing more than: I love you babe!

I love getting IM’s from him on Facebook

I love that after eleven years of my putting his toothbrush back in the holder every morning he still leaves it draped across his sink in the bathroom when he’s finished using it.

I love the smell of his cologne especially on a cold day.

I love that he builds me fires in the fireplace just so we can cuddle up in front of it.

I love when I’m cooking in the kitchen and he comes up behind me to give me a hug.

I love that he supports me in my job, because Lord knows I’ve wanted to give up many times.

I love that he loves me enough to teach me about self protection (my classmates know what I’m talking about )

I love that when we argue he won’t talk to me until we both calm down bcs he knows words can be life or death.

I love him for who he is.. I love his blue eyes, his black hair, dimple in his cheeks and strut in his step!

Happy Valentines Day sweetheart.  You are all I want this year…. You just as you are!
