Sorry guys it’s been so long since I’ve written. December has been a horrible month for me. Seems like one bad thing after another keeps happening. But, I’ve managed to keep my head above water. I choose to swim and not sink. Many of my readers may not know this but my little sister just found out that she has another tumor on her pituitary gland which is located in the brain. She had this same growth 7 years ago and had it surgically removed. She will likely have to undergo another brain surgery in 2010. I considered laying down photography completely to help out where I can and be there where and when I need to be. I prayed about it, I thought a long time about it, but in the end, when it comes right down to it…. I don’t think it’s time just yet. Now maybe when my youngest starts school I’ll retire, but for now and next year, I will take things in stride, take what jobs my and her schedule allow and stay in tune with what God wants for me.
I took most of December off (which was FANTASTIC) and I plan to do it every year…But my cousin came in from Houston and I got to meet baby Caroline for the first time. I had the pleasure of taking her very first photos! Em, I hope you love them as much as I do.
