Today

I spent the WHOLE day doing LOTS and LOTS of homework.  I even wrote a personal marketing plan and got so many ideas to put it into place.  I was SUPPOSED to shoot my kids this afternoon but as luck would have it I got rain.  So we made the best out of a bad day and literally stepped onto the porch to take a few shots.  I’ll continue her session tomorrow.

And I thought after the end to a very long and exhausting day (kudos to those of you who CONSTANTLY work behind a desk) I thought I deserved a nice long bath!!!

Silly me, instead I was greeted with the entire Toy Story 3 army brigade :)

Maybe another day…………….

Lots of love,

Dawn

Ahh what a cutie!!!

It’s nice to have those sessions every now and again that make you say, wow THIS is why I love my job!!  I had that experience last week with little Miss Emma.  I think the picture speaks for itself.  And I couldn’t decide if I liked it better in black and white or in color so I’m giving you both.  Jami, if I were her momma, this would be a HUGE canvas in my house!!!

So because I had so much fun on this shoot I’m offering a summertime special.  Most of you already know I do not book in the summertime, but I am going to open up a few spots (VERY FEW) for those of you who want to take advantage!!!

Love,

Nothing makes me happier

Than to see someone turn their life over to God.  I love LOVE nothing more than when I can witness a change in someone.  To watch someone grow from something into something MAGNIFICENT in God’s eyes.  A few weeks ago my sister and one of my best friends got baptized at church.  It is such an honor to be a part of their walks and their life.

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:19 20)

This little guy is a boy in my class at church.  Makes my heart happy to see a change in kids :)

Proverbs 4:20-27
20 My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. 21 Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; 22 for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body. 23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. 24 Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. 27 Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.

Here are a few pictures of a couple of newborns I took pictures of recently.  Babies make me happy too!!

And this is precious our new baby girl.  She makes me happy too!

I also decided that I’m going to take a good long break from the computer and blog for a while.  I really need to take some personal time and enjoy life as it unfolds.  There’s an adventure hiding in each day and I plan to cherish them and explore them!!

I love each and every one of you!
